GET READY... PANIC!

AKUNEKO PANIC! is a fast-paced-turn-based arcade game about sushi chef frogs reclaiming stolen sushi from a clan of demon-kittens. Go it alone, or with up to 4 players! Please note that while a player can use the keyboard, a controller is recommended—most popular models should work without any external configuration.

This game was created during the Secret Santa Jam from November 20 - December 20 in 2020.

ABOUT THE GAME

• PLUG N' PLAY! Connect your controller(s) and press any button to begin!
• YOUR TURN! Don't get skipped! Choose a direction and either hop or...
• GOTCHA! Use your tongue to zip around quickly or pull sushi to you!
• YUM! Collect all 5 sushi rolls to complete the floor, but...
• BEWARE THE CATS! If you get too close, they'll get angry!
• LEVEL UP! Sushi restores your HP and raises your EXP!
• PANIC! The pace increases every floor! Can you reach the top?

CONTROLS

• D-Pad / Left Stick / Right Stick / WASD - Change Direction
• Top or Bottom Face Button / Left Shoulder / Left Trigger / K - Hop
• Left or Right Face Button / Right Shoulder / Right Trigger / J - Tongue
• Start or Select Button / Enter / Space - Pause
